Fill in the details, then choose the rig: Sandvik writes a .dp, Epiroc writes an IREDES .xml. Windows then asks for the file name and folder. Not yet verified on a drill: check origin, orientation, scale and holes on the rig before use.
Bit and reamer diameters and drilling-data setting are taken from the opened plan.
Convert many drill plans in one go, Sandvik .dp to Epiroc .xml and back. Your original files are never changed: the converted copies go in a new folder and nothing is overwritten. Not yet verified on a drill: check origin, orientation, scale and holes on the rig before use.
Or drag .dp and .xml files, or a folder, onto the window.
No files yet.
Files already in the target format are skipped and listed as skipped.
A converted folder next to each source file.
File names never change: name.dp becomes name.xml and back.
Files keep their exact name; only .dp / .xml changes. If some already exist you are asked once whether to replace or skip them. Two files that would end up with the same name are not converted and are listed with a cross. A conversion-report.txt is saved in each output folder.
Both profiles stay centred. The collar roof and corners follow the toe shape. Toe roof radius adjusts to fit the width and height unless edited here. Height changes move the back; the floor stays at the level above.
Target profile, not a prediction of blasted excavation. Spacing targets remain unchanged.
Holes already tipped up this much are left alone. Lifters, floor holes and back holes are not changed. Toes stay where they are; collars are lowered. One Undo puts them back.
Rounds the bottom of the round like a bucket seen from above. Shorter corner holes leave a bowl-shaped bottom, so the round pulls clean at the corners and the loader bucket fits the floor. Shortening the walls as well helps keep them from breaking out past the line.
4% is 20 cm on a 5 m round. Above 6% the face gets too shaped and the steel can bind. Collars stay where they are; toes move back along each hole. One Undo puts them back. Your choice is used for new rounds; 0% turns it off.
Added/deleted holes, changed hole types and manual positioning will reset. Undo can restore the previous round.
